Arknights: Endfield - 4 MUST-BUILD Starting Teams for New Players! Read Before the Jan 22 Launch!

Just a heads-up, squads in Arknights: Endfield are teams of four. This allows for a ton of flexibility in team-building! Today, your Special Assistant is here to introduce the four essential starting team compositions for new players. Each of these squads will be a reliable workhorse during your early-game progression, giving you a head start from day one! Let's dive in.

1. The Physical Team

First up is the Physical Team. If you pulled Lifeng or Pogranichnik from the beginner banner, you can consider building this. Pogranichnik acts as the main DPS, with Lifeng serving as the sub-DPS. Round out the team with two supports: Chen Qianyu and Kachier. If you didn't get Pogranichnik, you can substitute him with your Endministrator (the protagonist). This physical comp is currently a top-tier (T0) meta team and is excellent for the early game.

2. The Fire Team

This team built around Laevatain, the first limited 6-star many of you will pull for. For support, choose Antal and Akekuri. The key here is that both supports are 4-star characters—so with good luck, you could get all three in a single 10-pull! These two are currently Laevatain's best support partners. For the fourth slot, we still pick our all-rounder healer Ardelia, who is given for free on the third login day. This setup makes the Laevatain Fire Team very low-cost and perfectly suited for your early-game journey!

3. The Freemium Team

Following that is the most accessible, budget-friendly setup: Endministrator + Pelica + Chen Qianyu + Ardelia. The advantage of this team is obvious: all members are free, with zero gacha cost—only resource investment is needed. The downside is also there: the synergy is more about taking turns rather than deep combo plays (you do your thing, then I do mine). Despite clear pros and cons, it's completely sufficient for tackling early-game content. You can confidently use this squad if you decide to skip pulling for Laevatain.

4. The Electric Team

Finally, the essential Electric Team for early game. Currently, there are no 6-star Electric-type Operators, so building this team isn't too costly. The core members are: Arclight + Pelica + Avywenna + Ardelia. The key is to pull the 5-star Operator Arclight. If you don't have Ardelia yet, you can substitute her with the Endministrator. While this appears to be a guide for four different teams, it subtly highlights the importance of our little Caprinae, Ardelia. Now you know who's really valuable!

Additionally, Ice teams are not ideal for new players in the early-game progression. They lean more towards single-target damage, and the team synergy isn't fully realized yet—but they hold promise for the future.
