[Endfield] Release Character Tier List! Don't Miss Out on All These 5-Star MVPs!

AmethyAmethyJanuary 26, 2026

Endfield is finally live! Figuring out who to pull and what teams to build is absolutely everyone's top priority. Since the launch roster is mostly unchanged from the beta, we've compiled this comprehensive character tier list based on the final data to help you out. Let's cut to the chase and get started right away.

🔥 Fire Element

  • Laevatain: No explanation needed. The launch poster child and main DPS for her dedicated team. Solidly T0 from Day One, with damage ceilings topping most comps. Makes early-game clearing a breeze. Pulling her guarantees a smooth start.
  • Wulfgard: Laevatain's dedicated support and the optimal Fire sub-DPS for the version. Provides consistent Fire application for her. Key point: you get one for free from the story, no pulling required. Ranks at T1.
  • Akekuri: A core piece of the Fire team puzzle with some versatility. Both her Combo and Ultimate Skills restore energy, making her very useful early on when energy regeneration is scarce. One of the 4-star MVPs. Ranks at T1.
  • Ember: High shield-break (Stagger) capability. Skills provide shields for the team and heal the controlled character when they get hit. However, the "on-hit" healing mechanic isn't ideal for general exploration. Forcing her into a team also makes skill rotations awkward. She shines in high-difficulty content, but for early-game exploration, she's placed at T2.

⚔️ Physical Element

  • Pogranichnik: A crucial piece for Physical teams. High single-target damage, provides significant SP regeneration and minor crowd control. His dodge also includes a long dash, making him great for traversal. Excellent for new players, though he requires some skill to master. T0.5.
  • Endministrator (Protagonist): A versatile jack-of-all-trades Combo Skill. Simply using their Combo is strong enough. King of versatility, an important early-game character for Physical teams, and can remain as a support later. Smooth gameplay feel; chaining two skills feels great. T0.5.
  • Lifeng: The premier Physical main DPS. His kit inflicts Physical vulnerability and gathers enemies, plus a "combo" self-buff that synergizes with his Ultimate for explosive damage. The face of Physical teams. T0.
  • Chen Qianyu: Carries you through the early game. A 5-star MVP for Physical teams. Given for free early on, she hits hard and her Combo is useful. Her mechanics are straightforward. Even later when replaced by a 6-star Physical DPS, she can still be a viable support. T0.5.
  • Da Pan: A key Physical team buffer. His shield-break damage boost and "Slam" damage increase make him nearly indispensable for Physical comps. Another 5-star MVP. Performs excellently alongside Lifeng and Pogranichnik. T1.
  • Catcher: Relies on a counter-attack mechanic. Currently has no solid place in the meta. You need to control him directly to counter, and a successful counter grants one stack of a shield-break buff, which isn't impactful enough and slows the pace. Similar to Ember, he's hard to fit into teams and is a 4-star. T3.

❄️ Ice Element

  • Last Rite: An Ice sub-DPS. Damage is decent, but slow startup is a major flaw. His Combo Skill requires three stacks of Chill to activate, and greatsword gameplay feels clunky. However, his talent inflicts Chill vulnerability, making him useful in Ice teams. T0.5.
  • Yvonne: The face of Ice teams, a main DPS. Both her skills and Ultimate stack her own Crit Rate, leading to considerable late-game damage. Her Combo also includes minor enemy gathering, and she can constantly summon drones. She applies Chill and synergizes with Charged Attacks for instant energy regeneration. T0.
  • Xaihi: The Ice team enabler/accelerator. Applies Chill to speed up team rotations. Her skill mechanics require the controlled character to use Charged Attacks, making her a perfect partner for Yvonne. Her skills and Ultimate also provide buffs for Ice teams. T1.
  • Snowshine: Has the same issue as counter-based characters: Chill application only happens on a successful counter. Shares Catcher's problem of being hard to fit into teams, and survival-focused roles aren't needed for daily content. T3.
  • Alesh: Deals hybrid Physical/Ice damage. His skill instantly Freezes enemies with Chill. This "premature" freeze doesn't synergize well with standard Ice teams, but Alesh also has extra effects against enemies with Originium Attunement. Triggering his Combo and talent restores SP. He fits more naturally into Physical teams, but his split nature leads to lower usage. T2 overall, but T1 within dedicated "Shatter" comps.
  • Etela: A 4-star Ice Guard. Like Alesh, she has a Physical component, increasing Physical vulnerability and launching enemies, plus SP regeneration. Doesn't fit into standard Ice teams (T3), but in "Shatter" teams with Alesh and the Endministrator, she enables very fast starts. Considered T1 within those specific comps.

⚡️ Lightning Element

  • Arclight: Another hybrid damage dealer, split between Lightning and Physical damage. Skills require allies to apply Conductive status first. Skills lean towards the Vanguard role of energy regeneration, and her damage isn't a priority, falling off later. T2.
  • Pelica: Excellent at applying the Conductive status. Her skill applies it directly with no pre-conditions. A Charged Attack from the controlled character can trigger her Combo to apply another stack. Smooth gameplay feel and easy to obtain. If we get a strong Lightning main DPS, Pelica's efficient buffing will definitely earn her a team slot. T1.
  • Avywenna: A Lightning damage dealer, but her kit feels awkward and she's only a 5-star. Her damage relies on her Lightning Spear weapon, which requires hitting a Conductive enemy with a Charged Attack, making her damage output slow. Easily replaced by higher-tier options. T3.
  • Antal: A 4-star MVP. One skill applies both Lightning and Heat vulnerability. This precious damage amplification gives her a chance to slot into two different teams. Her Combo reapplies a Physical or Elemental status, and her Ultimate buffs the team's Lightning/Heat damage. A true jack-of-all-trades. T1.

🍃 Nature Element

  • Ardelia ("Little Goat"): Even though Verdant lacks a pure DPS, its two supports are top-tier. Although she's given for free, her Physical and Arts (Spell) vulnerability effects are incredibly potent. She also heals, and her Ultimate deals respectable damage. Usable in any team. T0.
  • Gilberta: While Gilberta doesn't inflict Physical vulnerability, she gathers enemies. In a strategy game where damage revolves around skill points (SP), crowd control is invaluable. Without her, you might wipe one group and wait for energy; with her, you can wipe them all at once, saving tons of time. She also inflicts Arts vulnerability. Her gathering ability alone makes her T0 in the early game.
  • Fluorite: Her skill applies Verdant Attunement. Her Combo requires two stacks of Verdant or Chill to trigger. Due to lack of supportive utility and being a 4-star, she struggles to find a team slot. T3.

That wraps up this tier list! Endfield's strategic gameplay means team synergy is often more important than individual character strength, and there are many ways to build teams. Some characters can play different roles in different situations depending on the rotation. So, this tier list isn't absolute.

Regardless, we wish you all the luck in your pulls—may you get Laevatain and blaze through the early game!
