The Ultimate F2P Pulling Guide for Arknights: Endfield Ⅱ

AmethyAmethyJanuary 15, 2026

In the previous article, we discussed topics related to New Horizons Headhunting and Basic Headhunting. Let's continue to review the information about Limited Chartered Headhunting Banner.

3.Limited Chartered Headhunting (Limited/Feature UP Banner): The "Key Banner" for Targeting Powerful Operators

These are time-limited banners, typically rotating every 15 days, featuring newly released or rerun limited Operators. They're for players chasing powerful meta units and have more hard rules than the standard banner:

The soft pity (lose the 50/50) is the same: a 6-star is guaranteed within 80 pulls.

There's a hard pity mechanism: The featured limited 6-star is guaranteed within 120 pulls. This counter is exclusive to this banner type and does not reset until you get the featured unit, but it does not carry over after the banner ends. You must accumulate enough pulls within the banner's duration.

Example:

The first limited Chartered Headhunting banner features Laevatain. You can use [Firewalker's Trail HH Permit], [Firewalker's Trail 10×Permit], [Chartered HH Permit], or [Oroberyl] to pull.

[Firewalker's Trail HH Permit] and [Firewalker's Trail 10×Permit] can only be obtained by purchasing bundles or exchanging in the [Bond Quota Exchange]. In the exchange, you use [Bond Quota] (gained from pulling duplicate 5-star and 6-star characters) to get these permits. Each banner limits you to exchanging for 5 [Firewalker's Trail HH Permits].

[Chartered HH Permit] is also obtained from the [Bond Quota Exchange].

[Oroberyl] is the general premium currency. One pull costs 500 Oroberyls. A primary source of Oroberyls is opening chests scattered on the map, with each chest giving 10~20 Oroberyls.

The 6-star characters in the first limited Character Headhunting Banner at launch are: Laevatain / Yvonne / Gilberta / Ember / Lifeng / Ardelia / Last Rite / Pogranichnik.

The first three (Laevatain, Yvonne, Gilberta) are the limited characters. They rotate as the featured "main" unit, while the other two in the trio become possible off-banner pulls (i.e., what you get if you "lose the 50/50").

Example:

In the first 15-day banner, Laevatain is the featured limited character. The other two, Yvonne & Gilberta, are the possible off-banner 6-stars.

After 15 days, the next banner features Yvonne, with Laevatain & Gilberta as the off-banner possibilities.

The cycle continues. After featuring three times (e.g., Laevatain), a limited character is removed from the pool after that third banner ends.

Every 10-pull on character banners guarantees at least one 5-star character.

Important Note: Limited banners can be "Single UP" (one featured 6-star) or "Double UP" (two featured 6-stars). Single UP has a 0.8% rate for the featured 6-star, great for collecting specific units. Double UP splits that rate (0.4% each), lowering your chance if you want a specific one. F2P players should prioritize Single UP banners. The 5-star pull rate is 8%, and the 4-star rate is 91.2%.

In the next article, we will discuss how to Accumulate and Utilize Pulling Resources.

Looking forward to your continued reading. ❤️
