[Endfield] Yvonne's Headhunting is coming, but do you really need to headhunt for her?

To get straight to the point: if you already have Laevatain (Heat team), Last Rite (Cryo team), and Pogranichnik (Physical team)—these core operators that can form a solid team—I don’t recommend headhunting for Yvonne. It’s not that Yvonne isn’t strong; in fact, she’s quite powerful. Her single-target damage is definitely top-tier (T0). The main issue is her mechanics are a bit awkward. For example, during her ultimate, she needs to tank damage because dodging or moving will cause her to lose a lot of damage. Her skill might miss enemies, and having Gilberta in your team makes a huge difference in her performance.

With Gilberta’s crowd control, Yvonne is very comfortable to play. Without Gilberta, you have to single-target enemies one by one, which means stacking Cryo Inflictions and triggering enhanced skills and combo skills becomes very troublesome. Also, she conflicts with the current Cryo operator, Xaihi. During Yvonne’s ultimate, dodging causes damage loss, but if you don’t dodge, you won’t be able to fully benefit from Xaihi’s skill boost.

Lastly, let’s talk about the recently popular “dream team.” This team’s advantages are obvious: maxed control, extremely high burst damage, and easily able to defeat high-difficulty bosses. However, this team is very expensive to build and hard to form. If you happen to have all the operators, you can try it out.

To sum up: if you already have a complete team that can clear the game (Heat team, Physical team, Electric team), you can skip headhunting for now and save your Oroberyl for version 1.1. If you’re new to the game or a regular player who headhunt on every banner, you can consider headhunting one Yvonne to help with early progression.
