Arknights:Endfield recommends two beginner-friendly teams that are easy to run and hard to fail with

It's time to give up on the heat team!

Team 1: Mindless Button-Mashing Team with Gilberta:
Combo skill cooldown is 20s. With the Frontiers Set equipped (-15% CD), 17s fits perfectly into the Shattering team’s rotation.
Don’t expect much damage; just bring the Frontiers Set for the extra secondary stat (which can be directly taken from Alesh). The goal is to have more enemies around to heal more.

The operation is very simple:
Gilberta’s battle skill applies Nature Infliction, Estella’s battle skill applies Cryo Infliction, then freeze triggers four combo skills in a row—just press them all quickly. Finally, the Endministrator adds a final strike to finish the cycle.
After 17s, repeat the cycle (requires Estella’s combo skill at mastery 3; otherwise, the cycle is 18s):

Estella needs 208.1/233.2 SP charge to have an ultimate every round
(depends on whether Gilberta uses her ultimate to apply Nature Infliction that round and if you add an Endministrator/Chen skill),
If Estella has ultimate ready, after finishing combo skills, press ultimate, then quickly press the next three combo skills.
Basically, it’s Estella + Gilberta combo button mashing, then ultimate, then two more combo skills (to align Gilberta and Estella’s 17s combo skill cooldown)
(Or if you want to maximize Vulnerability from crystals, put Endministrator in slot 4, and don’t mash the last two combo skills to avoid priority conflicts with Chen’s combo skill stealing crystals).

Gilberta only need one SP charger or seal to get one ultimate every 3 rounds:
Round 1: Gilberta Q, Estella E, combo skill 1-2-3-4, Endministrator Q E
Round 2: Gilberta E, Estella E, combo skill 1-2-3-4, Endministrator E
Round 3: Gilberta E, Estella E, combo skill 1-2-3-4, Endministrator E
(If cold start, use a skill to charge ultimate by round 3 and enter this cycle)

(SP calculation: Estella 85×3 + Gilberta 100×2 + Endministrator 50+50+100 = 42,575 SP, 3 combo skills = 30 SP;
Need 90/72,575 = 124.1% SP charge, so weapons like Stanza of Memorials or Chivalric Virtues work fine.)

Trying to get an ultimate every 2 rounds with the Frontiers Set is unlikely.
Although Gilberta can equip Swordmancer or get free Nature Infliction with two-round ultimate charging, the 20s combo skill cooldown is too long and feels inefficient.

Leave 100 SP to interrupt (though I think it’s unnecessary; enemies often get interrupted by combo skills anyway).
When you have two SP, just go up and repeat the cycle on enemies. Usually, after 5 random repeats, Rhodagn dies (so strict SP charging isn’t that critical).

The biggest difficulty is Gilberta’s E skill has delayed effect, so you need to predict.
Once Nature Infliction is applied, use all skills within 4s.

Team 2: Mindless Cryo Team with main control Perlica, plus Ember. Perlica abandons stacking Arts Intensity and goes pure tank.
Ember is pure healer set, stacking treatment bonus insanely.

The other two are Last Rite and Xaihi.

Advantages of this team compared to Last Rite main control with Snowshine:

1. Most importantly, no more feeling the frustration of Last Rite’s long final strike animation being interrupted. Perlica is ranged with super fast basic attacks, final strikes are free to spam. Even Last Rite + Snowshine had many moments where you missed enemy moves and got interrupted during final strikes, which was very frustrating.

2. Truly unkillable team. Tanky Perlica with 44 DMG Reduction + ranged advantage + pure healer Ember + healing set’s 30 DMG Reduction. After finishing all the current event stages, Perlica’s HP is still full. Last Rite + Snowshine often got hit hard and lost half HP. I tested Snowshine’s passive that triggers +25 healing below half HP, but healing output is still lower than Ember’s. Also, Snowshine rarely triggers the LYNX set’s 30 DMG Reduction. For those who doubt I haven’t leveled Snowshine, here’s a screenshot: gear is given to Ember, her level is higher than Ember’s, healing is basically maxed out at about 3200, and requires half HP to trigger. Ember’s max healing is about 4000 and triggers the healing set’s 30 DMG Reduction (mine isn’t fully maxed). Cooldown is also 5 seconds faster than Snowshine.

3. No worries about SP shortage or overflow causing Last Rite’s ultimate not to cycle. Just use Last Rite’s SP throughout, and if more are available, use Xaihi’s.

Feels great. Never thought a Cryo team could be as mindless as a Physical team.
