We've Been Tricked for a Whole Month! Laevatain's Passive Damage Reduction Was Bugged – Players Were Getting Wrecked and Blamed Their Own Skill!

Hey there, Endministrators! Amethy here. Can you believe it? A whole month after launch, and a nasty bug affecting Laevatain has only just been discovered and fixed! Laevatain just got an epic buff!
Turns out, Laevatain's passive had a critical bug. Her [Re-lgnition] effect was supposed to provide a whopping 90% damage reduction for 8 seconds – basically a mini-invincibility window allowing you to stand your ground and dish out damage. But in reality, it was only granting a measly 10% damage reduction. The difference is night and day.

The most unbelievable part? This bug existed since day one and somehow flew completely under the radar – no players noticed, no strategy streamers caught it, no reviewer pointed it out. Most players using Laevatain would pair her with HP recovery items anyway, and the healing effect upon passive trigger made it easy to overlook whether the damage reduction was actually working.

Over time, whenever anyone got deleted, they'd instinctively blame their own skill – "I messed up the dodge timing" – never suspecting the passive was broken. Even those who had doubts couldn't be bothered to test it. No one posted about it online. Everyone just chalked it up to their own misplays or assumed the DR window had expired.

It wasn't until some eagle-eyed Bilibili content creator actually tested and exposed it that we all had our collective "aha" moment. Turns out, we were all victims of a bug. Most of us are just casual players – how were we supposed to catch a non-obvious passive talent bug like this? No wonder it stayed hidden for so long.

Of course, the devs have now fixed it. But seriously... shouldn't we be getting 200 Oroberyl compensation for this? 😂
